THE STORY BEHIND

Matteo Macchiavelli was born in Italy in 1980, With a strong academic background, he pursued a degree in Economics, which laid a solid foundation for his future endeavors. In 2003, seeking to expand his horizons and expertise, Matteo moved to Los Angeles to enroll in a Master’s program in Sport & Management at UCLA. This move marked the beginning of a transformative journey both personally and professionally.

In 2005, while still in Los Angeles, Matteo founded the Macchia J fashion brand.

The brand quickly garnered attention for its innovative designs and unique approach to fashion.

Matteo decided to return to Italy in 2007 to further develop and expand his brand. This move proved to be pivotal, as Macchia J blossomed into a significant name in the fashion industry, known for its creativity and high-profile collaborations from Superga, by Marvel to Porsche and many more,  these partnerships not only expanded the brand’s reach but also solidified its reputation for excellence and innovation in design.

Macchiavelli’s passion for art was always evident. In 2019, after a long and successful career in design, he began creating his own art, and he made the first Art fashion brand named Awesome – Art not fake to represent the pursuit of the art making matching with a international distribution.

His artwork  ranged from vibrant palm landscapes to intricate colored scenes.

His artistic talents culminated in 2022 when he designed the first F1 car in art dedicated to Ayrton Senna with the title “Senna Now”, which was sold in auction by F1 Authentics during the Montecarlo GP, in collaboration with French artist Jisbar, it was an international success for the media cover of the project.

In 2022, Matteo ventured into the “Hotellerie” industry with the design of the M House Hotel, a boutique Hotel that embodies the fusion of art and luxury. Each room and floor of the hotel features different artworks also form “Mr Macchia” artworks.

During the same year, he founded “Nextcoure Technology”, a pioneering platform for the fashion industry that utilizes technology, 3D, and holograms to enhance the customer luxury experience. This platform was a testament to Matteo’s forward-thinking approach and his ability to integrate technology with fashion to making the pass by the creativity to the market and every one can be his own designer also with AI assistance, making the desire satisfaction.

In 2023, Matteo designed the first Batmobile on an F1 car, creating a landmark in automotive design history.

He collaborated with renowned photographer Sebastian Magnani (Exclusive Limeted Edition) to develop a new concept of collaboration and art sharing, making the collab with Pirelli, Bell Helmet and OMP and sold on F1 Authentics.

After this unique “Fastmobile” the second masterpieces made was a special 30 Years celebration car for Ayrton Senna Tribute at Imola F1 Gp, used also by Sky Tv for the production of a iconic documentary “Me & Ayrton” on demand. The car is a fusion of the livery of Senna’s career totally hand painted with the representation of Sennas on two sides of the car with an ideology very unique.

Matteo Macchiavelli continues to push the boundaries of art and design. In 2024, he began working on visionary collaborations in fashion and art, with plans to participate in Art Basel 2024. His relentless pursuit of innovation and his ability to merge different disciplines have cemented his status as a visionary in both the fashion and art Worlds.

Beyond his professional achievements, Matteo is an avid art lover and memorabilia collector, he own one of the biggest Ayrton Senna race used collection now exposed on “Museo dell’ Automobile” in Turin for the Senna Forever Exhibition, the biggest ever made in the world under the care of Mr Carlo Cavicchi and the famous designer Mr. Benedetto Camerana.

His contributions to fashion, art, and technology have left an indelible mark, making him a true visionary of his time.
